Job Description
FL-DBPR-TLH-Division of Regulation-Auditing Clerk – 20 hrs a week, Monday – Friday, flexible within the hours of 8am and 5pm.
WORK ENVIORNMENT: Professional Business Environment, cubicle
DRESS CODE: Business Casual – no torn, offensive or revealing clothing
PARKING: Free surface or garage parking
CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Auditing financial documents
Performing accounting calculations
Ability to determine the financial stability of companies
Utilize computer programs to find documents, perform calculations, and enter the required information into a reporting form
Candidate will not work outside the office or have contact with the public
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Must have finance/accounting experience in order to understand the auditing
Basic Accounting Skills
Excellent Computer Skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Knowledge of GAAP preferred
Previous auditing experience
Ability to work independently and think critically.
