Job Description
Interview Process: Virtual: Candidates should join from a laptop and be prepared to share their screen if requested. A screenshot photo of candidate will be required for any interviews as well as a vendor present at beginning of virtual interview to validate candidate. There may be a 2nd round of interviews held in person. Candidates must be available for an in-person interview.
Hybrid Work Schedule: Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week. Required onsite days are Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Local candidates only. Candidates MUST be located within 90-100 miles of Lansing, MI at time of submission.
Job Description
This position supports the Center for Educational Performance and Information (CEPI) database environment primary for the Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS) modernization with the Common Education Data Standards (CEDS).
The database environment includes:
- Multiple SQL Server instances
- Multiple Collection Environments (Development, Quality Assurance/Testing, Pre-Release, and Production)
- Numerous SQL Reporting Services Servers
- 35+ collection databases
- 100+ analysis databases.
Top 3 skills needed:
Azure Database services, SQL Data Modeling/structure, Extensive ETL development experience.
Minimum Years experience required: 12
Required / Must Have
- TSQL: 8-10 years
- ETL development: 6-8 years
- PowerShell: 5 years
- Azure DevOps: 5 years
- Scrum: 5 years
