ONLY CANDIDATES THAT POSSESS AN ACTIVE PMI PMP CERTICATION FOR A MINIMUM OF ‘5‘ YEARS WILL BE CONSIDERED. THIS REQURIMENT ALSO INCLUDES UPLOADING A COPY OF THE CANDIDATES ACTIVE PMP CERTIFICATION IN ADDITON TO THEIR RESUME !!

REQUIREMENTS:

  • The successful candidate will have experience with the implementation of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system where the customer was employing a paper-based charting system.
  • Possess Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification for a minimum of ‘5’ years, MUST UPLOAD A VALID COPY OF PMP CERTIFICATION WITH CANDIDATE SUBMISSION.
  • Must currently reside in PA. OUT OF STATE CANDIDATES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
  • Be able to work in the Harrisburg office two (2) days a week as requested.
  • Participate with Program Office staff in off-site meetings (i.e., State Health Centers), if required/requested.
  • Seven (7) to nine (9) years of relevant Project Management experience proving they have/can perform the role effectively.
  • Experience with organizational change management (OCM) with independent customers is preferred.
  • Experience with EHR and/or EMR, health informatics, and health IT.
  • Directs, administers, manages, and facilitates enhancement(s), re-engineering of a business process(es) for a developmental project.
  • The PM’s primary responsibility is to drive the entire effort from start to finish. The PM must ensure that the project is completed on schedule, within the defined budget and that the final product meets the business, technical, and established quality requirements.
  • Familiar with the five (5) phases along with inputs/outputs identified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) that combine to turn a project idea into a working product.  The PM will need to rely on their proven experience leading projects to a successful implementation, and their judgment, to plan and accomplish goals. Strong interpersonal skills are required when consulting with the program area and various IT teams to define requirements and to analyze and resolve problems, ensuring collaboration and agreement with recommended solutions.
  •      Direct, administer, manage, and facilitate an enhancement, business process reengineering, or development of a high priority, high profile, and commonwealth enterprise – wide information technology project of strategic importance.

 

Required Skills

  • Manage the implementation of a new EHR system, and transition from system implementation to program operations and maintenance.
  • Lead, plan, execute, and monitor all project activities for EHR implementation including project planning and execution, and governance.
  • Accountable for delivery of all work tasks identified in the Project Management Plan and Project Schedule.
  • ‘Active’ PMP Certification from Project Management Institute (PMI) for at least ‘5’ years.
  • Manage technical initiatives with a complement of project team members throughout the various IT areas, technical complexity, and vendor involvment.
  • Familiarity and experience with programs and issues related to public health.
  • Experience with organizational change management (OCM) with independent customers.
