Skills required

  • Experience in information security related support.
  • Experience in helpdesk related support.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Ability to collaborate with peers, between teams, and stakeholders.
  • Experience with Microsoft server and workstation operating systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft O365 products.
  • Experience with incident reporting and support ticketing systems.
  • Experience with network and computer security testing tools.
  • Experience reading and interpreting security logs and reports.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices of information security.
  • Knowledge of business process analysis methods.
  • Responds promptly to technical, system and/or emergency issues when contacted outside of scheduled work hours, remotely or in person as needed.
  • Perform related work as required.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Stays up to date with cybersecurity trends and risks.
  • Experience working with Tenable and Splunk.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and technologies.
  • Associate’s degree or current certifications within information technology.
